Dr. Jeffrey Addicott, director of the Warrior Defense Project in San Antonio, TX, talks about Texas State Senate bill #1126 introduced by Texas State Senator Mays Middleton. The SB #1126 bill relates to the exemption from ad valorem taxation of part of the appraised value of the residence homestead of a partially disabled veteran or the surviving spouse.
Dr. Addicott explains the bill’s importance in honoring and helping disabled veterans keep their homes. Texas citizens are encouraged to call their state legislators to support the bill.
