Alabama Politics

Voters from across the state of Alabama went to polls on Super Tuesday to cast their votes. Well, some went to polls and voted, Alabama has 3.7M registered voters and just a little over 21% of them decided to take the time out of their busy schedules to vote. Is it apathy, complacency or they just don’t care anymore – It’s a little of all three, but ill get into that a little later.

If you as a voter don’t exercise your right to vote, the other side will and the more of them that vote, the less control you have and more difficult it is to get it back once you lose it.

If you voted on Tuesday, thank you, the candidates thank you, because they spent the time and money to campaign and work to earn your vote. But if you didn’t why? Maybe you had a legitimate reason not to, or maybe you just decided not to.

When voting, the ball is in your hands, you can either pass it off to someone else to address or you can take it and run with it.

It’s simple, if you don’t vote, they win.
