The Washington Affect
The Real Job Report
The mainstream media feeds you a line of misinformation as they continue to carry the water for Biden. According to the latest job report 336,000 new jobs were created in September and too much fanfare and braggadocios, Biden stands in front of the cameras from the minions of the media and spews utter nonsense.
Bidenomics is creating jobs like no other policy in history, from the middle out and the bottom up, not from the top down is his mantra. Let’s be perfectly clear, the jobs come from the people at the top, the corporations, and those who have the resources to hire individuals, not from those who are looking for employment.
If you attempt to destroy those at the top, then they’ll be no jobs for those in the middle or at the bottom.
You may not like that, but it’s hard cold truth – deal with it.
What are the actual numbers?
The number of people employed part-time stands at 4.1 million. These individuals who would have preferred full-time employment, were working part-time because their hours had been reduced or they were unable to find full-time jobs.
The number of people working part-time rose by 120,000.
The number of people working full-time dropped by 27,000.
Government jobs increased by 73,000, up from 47,000.
Social assistance added 25,000, up from the average of 23,000.
In September, average hourly earnings for all employees on private nonfarm payrolls rose by 7 cents, or 0.2 percent. While the inflation rate for the United States stands at 3.7%, the average price of food in the United States increased 4.3%, the average price for a gallon of gasoline was $4.064, representing an increase of 5.8%, and the mortgage rate hit 7.49%. Income is not keeping up with the cost of goods and services – that’s Bidenomics.
Leisure and hospitality added 96,000 and employment in food services and drinking places rose by 61,000 and has returned to its pre-pandemic February 2020 level. In other words, these are individuals who are finally going back to work after being let go during the shutdowns.
The major labor market indicators showed little or no change over the month. The unemployment rate held at 3.8% in September, and the number of unemployed persons was essentially unchanged at 6.4 million.
Among the major worker groups, the unemployment rates for adult men 3.8%, adult women 3.1%, teenagers 11.6%, Whites 3.4%, Blacks 5.7%, Asians 2.8%, and Hispanics 4.6% showed little or no change in September.
The number of long-term unemployed, out of work for 27 weeks or more was little changed at 1.2 million and accounted for 19.1% of all unemployed persons.
Both the labor force participation rate, at 62.8%, and the employment-population ratio, at 60.4%, were unchanged over the month.
In September, the number of persons not in the labor force who currently want a job was 5.5 million, little different from the prior month. These individuals were not counted as unemployed because they were not actively looking for work during the 4 weeks preceding the survey or were unavailable to take a job.
Among those not in the labor force who wanted a job, stands at 1.5 million and the number of discouraged workers, those who believed that no jobs were available for them, is 367,000.
The employment picture is not as pretty as the Biden administration, and his spinners want everyone to believe.
